At Aldiss we have been furnishing homes in Norfolk and beyond since 1892. Much has changed in the three centuries 19th 20th and 21st in which our stores have been open, however one thing remains – our total commitment to bringing the very best in furniture and homewares at great prices from around the world to homes in Norfolk.

From a small store in the market town of Fakenham in 1892, Aldiss has grown, becoming the county’s largest furniture and furnishings retailer with more than 100,000 square feet of showroom space at its stores Norwich, and Oxborough Lane, Fakenham. The company has not just grown in physical size, it has moved with the times. From a limited range of “drapery goods” in Victorian times, the product range now extends to more than 40,000 furniture and furnishing products from around the

world featuring iconic and contemporary brands including Tempur, Ercol, Parker Knoll, Alexander & James, Denby, Kitchen Aid, Sanderson and many more.

Our Fakenham store also offers both a full carpet service including measuring and fitting. Plus we also have a made to measure service on curtains and blinds.

The store is easily accessed with disabled access to the front and the rear and customers can take advantage of the wide walkways to all departments and facilities. The use of a wheelchair is available upon request. Disabled toilet facilities with easy access and manoeuvrability are located on both the ground and first floor and a wide access lift will also take you to our Shapes restaurant on the first floor.

Shapes our restaurant offers a variety of fresh hot and cold food, daily specials, homemade scones, cakes and more to enjoy before or after browsing the store.

There is also a children's play area located in Shapes with toys and games to keep the children amused.
