Captain's Nook

Our cosy self catering cottage Captains Nook in Winterton on Sea Norfolk was once a coastguard cottage.  It has been comfortably furnished and contains all the little luxuries that make a self catering holiday a joy.

Captains Nook has two double bedrooms and bunk beds in a third bedroom and with a games room, a garden and the beach a mere five minutes away, the children are all set.

The log burner in the living room ensures a warm and toasty feel even if it turns a bit chilly outside and the south facing garden soaks up as much sunshine as possible.

The games room contains a variety of different games and activities such as a pool table, table football, a sofa, multiple board games and reading material for any of you bookworms out there.

Dogs are very welcome too, so Captains Nook provides a lovely home away from home for all the family.

Winterton Village boast a great pub, with shops and a lovely church and its unspoilt beach much loved in the winter months by the seals who can be found sunbathing with their pups.  It is very dog friendly too although if you walk on the beach and see sals best to keep the pup on a lead as seals are very protective of their offspring.

The rest of the lovely county of Norfolk is easy to reach and has great activities for all the family and great shopping in Norwich just half and hour away.
