Castle Rising is one of the most famous 12th Century castles in England built in around 1140ad, located in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.
Over the years the castle has served as a hunting lodge, royal residence and for a short period of time even housed a mental patient. But today is owned by a descendant of William D'Albini II.
Facilities include a gift shop, where you will find souvenirs of the castle, and also an audio guide available to you to guide you around the castle.
Castle Rising is bursting with History and is the perfect day out for tourists, with plenty of things to see and discover inside and outside of the castle.
