Hare and Barrel Hotel

The family owned Hare & Barrel Hotel. is situated in Watton which dates back to the time of the Domesday Book. The oldest part of the hotel dates from 1806 when it was a manor house owning all the land down to the river.However, nowadays the hotel is very much up to date with all the present day comforts and just waiting for you to stay and explore

The Hare & Barrel has sixteen en-suite bedrooms, most of them converted from the  coach house and stables. A comfortable lounge bar, restaurant, games room, conservatory are in the main part of the hotel and a partially covered patio just beckons on those rare warm summer evenings,  it is a joy to sit under and just relax.

The Hare & Barrel is noted locally and further a field for its food, serving up some delicious home cooked meals. The restaurant is open to non-residents and children are always welcome. Sunday lunches are always very popular here so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
