Hillside Animal Sanctuary

Hillside Animal Sanctuary is home to over 2000 animals with 700 of these being horses, donkeys and mules which have been brought in from abusive living conditions and today is one of the UK's most successful animal rights campaigners. The sanctuary houses animals that have been subjected to cruelty and unacceptable living conditions but now live a happy life in the care of our staff and facilities.

We have a large variety of animals that you can visit as you walk around the sanctuary.

At the sanctuary we also have a gift shop which all proceeds go to helping the animals at the sanctuary. So if you want to pick up something to remember your visit and help the animals, please check it out.
