Holkham Hall and Estate

We welcome you to the Holkham Hall and Estate, a long lasting family home which has been passed down from the first Earl of Leicester and now is owned by the 8th. It was built in the envisioned style of an Italian villa and has since kept much of the original look dating back to the 18th century.

Being at the centre of a privately owned, thriving 25 000 acre agricultural estate which provides the necessary elements for the maintenance of the house and the surrounding areas. The site has many other areas that we work in other than farming, we have several shops, a holiday park, multiple cafes and an internationally acclaimed hotel.

The walled gardens were laid down at some point in the 1700s, still keeping the Italian villa style and we have now made it a personal endeavour to restore the garden to it's original glory.

The park is a 3000 acre grounds which deer and much more wildlife thrives, there is a 10 mile walking/cycle route and features a lot of beautiful scenery. The park is open all year round. If you want to do the cycle trip then there is a cycle hire centre for you to use.

Woodlands Play Area is a great way to entertain the children who visit the state, with lots of fun climbing equipment and a huge zone for them to enjoy, they will have the time of their lives.
