Humbleyard Vineyard is in Mulbarton and are proud to be part of the growing wine industry in Norfolk and across East Anglia. There have been great successes for English wines in international competitions and Norfolk vineyards are determined to follow on this success with both still and sparkling wines.
This part of Norfolk and East Anglia as a whole, are becoming well known as the place to grow Bacchus grapes which produce a wine similar to the ever popular Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadet.
Our vineyard was planted on gentle south facing fields on which for over thirty five years we had very successfully grown a variety of soft fruits. It is well protected from frost, well drainedWarm, well drained and largely protected from frost, it has proved to be the ideal location for the vines.
We grow a variety of grapes, white varieties are Solaris, Chardonnay, Reichensteiner, Sauvignon Blanc and Bacchus and red varieties are Rondo, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Cortis.
