Jayes Holiday Cottages

We offer three self contained cottages on the Norfolk/Suffolk border in the village of Wattisfield.

With options for twin and double beds and additional sofa beds, the cottages are suitable for families, friends, couples and singles.

Whilst open to all, two of the cottages have been purpose built for wheelchair users and have an M3 mobility rating, this design also makes them easy to navigate for those less mobile.

The cottages are ideally placed for easy access for the market towns of Diss, Thetford, Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket, and only an hours’ drive to the Norfolk/Suffolk Heritage coast.

The local area is ideal for country drives, walks and cycling, with a quiet lanes, footpaths and byways leading you through open countryside and many pretty villages.

The village pubs provide plenty of lunch stops along the way, and two locals are well placed for an evening out, just a mile down the road, where The Blue Boar also has a restaurant serving local produce and meat sourced from the well known Rolfes butchers in Walsham Le Willows.

Local attractions include the Watson Pottery, Pakenham Mill, Wyken Vinyards and Farmers Market, and the wider area provides entertainment for all ages with the Suffolk Owl Sanctuary, Creeting Lakes and Stonham Barns Fisheries, Banham Zoo, Africa Alive Animal Adventure and The Mid-Norfolk Railway to name but a few.
