Long Beach Touring & Tenting Park

This private estate includes part of the Winterton Great Valley, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and over forty acres of rolling sand dunes and a fine sandy beach.

Through the valley towards Winterton-on-Sea, people can walk and enjoy peaceful surroundings to the Nature Reserve, which extends for miles up the coast.

Long Beach Touring park and the approaches are well lit at night and there are resident wardens on site. More mains electricity outlets have been installed as well. Visitors are entitled to use at no extra cost all the facilities on the main site at Long Beach (where the supermarket, the Dolphin Bar/restaurant, Laundromat, beach etc are situated).

This is a family site and we don't normally take unaccompanied groups of young people unless prior arrangement has been made and we are satisfied that there will not be a behaviour problem.

The wireless internet facility that was installed on the main site at Long Beach recently now covers this area, and there is a what's called a hotspot in the Dolphin Bar where you can access it. And so there will be computers available to hire if you need to keep up with your e-mails (or even pretend you are still at home or in the office at work!) Skype Enabled.

There are actually two fields, one with a recently built top standard toilet/shower/disabled block and then an extra field which opens for a more limited period and where there is normally a mobile toilet block as a backup. There is usually space for ball games, kite flying etc.

Our general plan is to keep to the proper density standards so there will not be any crowding problem.

The beach, valley and dunes with their numerous interesting features combine to make this an outstanding leisure area, within easy reach of the amusements at Hemsby Gap. There are also two heated swimming pools within one mile of Long Beach.

We are also associated with the Seadell Bar at the end of Beach Road in Hemsby where there is more in the way of entertainment, no membership fees and where you are very welcome.
