Norwich Cathedral Guided Tour

With over 900 years of history and many unique treasures to discover there’s lots to explore at Norwich Cathedral. Our friendly and knowledgeable tour guides are on hand to guide you around the Cathedral.
Free daily guided tours

Take a free guided tour and learn about how the Cathedral survived riot, war, plague and fire, and its work today. Tours are available Monday to Saturday every hour between 11.00am and 3.00pm and last approximately one hour. Please ask at the donations desk for further details. Guided tours are free but donations are welcomed.

If you missed a tour, guides can be spotted wearing their green sashes and are here to answer your questions.

Guided tours for groups

We welcome group visits and offer exclusive guided tours for groups of more than 10 people. Guided tours are available throughout the year between 10.00am and 4.00pm, cost £4 per person and pre-booking is required.

Foreign languages

Unfortunately guided tours are only available in English, but leaflets are available in French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Japanese and Russian.

Private tours

Private tours can be arranged for those who book a private event at the Cathedral.
