The Royal Cromer Golf Club is a tidy, lovingly kept Golf Course and a model of what good green keeping ought to be. The Club was granted its Royal patronage by HRH Edward Prince of Wales on Christmas Day 1887, the formal opening taking place on 2nd January 1888.
In the past The Royal Cromer Golf Club has been visited by: Peter Allis, Tony Jacklin and more recently Nick Price, as well as others. Societies are more than welcome (please ring or email first) and our catering/bar staff will be more than happy to provide you with some excellent fare.
The club was originally designed by Tom Morris and later improvements were made by J H Taylor and James Braid, the current Frank Pennick design has been constructed out of hummocky, sandy hills covered with gorse and bracken and seamed with grassy valleys.
We welcome players of all abilities and offer a challenge for everyone. Whether you play on a calm, peaceful summer day, or during the cold winter months you will have a memorable day.
