Salhouse Broad Canoeing

Salhouse Broad is the perfect place to try canoeing for the first time. The sheltered Broad has the peaceful old wherry cut to explore, so why not try our 1 hour for £12 option? For those who wish to travel a bit further, Horning or Ranworth are easily reachable within the 3 and 6 hour hire options, here you can stop for a pub lunch or explore the beautiful scenery up close and personal- looking out for abundant wildlife including the reed warbler, swallowtail butterfly, Norfolk hawker, marsh harrier and many others.

Canoes are available to hire from 10.30am and must be returned back by 7pm, Easter- September, unless you have booked in advance.

All equipment needed is provided for you, so no need to bring anything else along apart from yourselves.

Equipment includes:
Buoyancy Aids: We have buoyancy aids for babies, right up to XL.
Paddles: Various sizes provided
Dry Bags: Small ones are provided for your essentials and large ones for your bags and any other belongings.
A map of the area
A 10 minute start up tuition and safety talk is included: Your safety is our priority.
And most importantly: A floating canoe/ Kayak!

Hire prices are per canoe/kayak. Canoes take up to a maximum of 3 Adults or 2 Adults and 2 small Children (under 8 - size dependant).

Canadian Canoes are on offer as well as Sit Top Kayaks. Please note - in the Sit top kayaks, you will get a bit wet!
