Strangers Coffee House

Strangers was established in 2009 in Norwich. During the past five years we have been honing the craft and expanding our knowledge on the topic. Speciality coffee is our passion. Speaking to any member of staff soon demonstrates this, with all of them wiling to answer coffee-related queries or make recommendations to customers regardless of how busy they are. Strangers has been shortlisted for a number of national awards by independent bodies, naming it amongst the top nine speciality coffee shops in the country as well as winning best coffee experience in the UK .

Strangers is currently offering roughly five different coffees daily from around the world, working closely with some of the top coffee importers and roasting the coffee on site in their new roastery. They have the ability and facilities to prepare the coffee in a number of different ways from espresso to aeropress in the hope of showcasing each coffee at its best.

High quality coffee isn't all Strangers is about. Everything on offer is of the same high standard, whether it’s the large range of loose leaf teas or their homemade cakes which change on a regular basis. Strangers runs an intentionally small range of freshly made ciabattas which are prepared daily, changing filling options frequently to keep things interesting for regulars. They also offer homemade soup in the winter and bake locally sourced pork sausage rolls for a light bite. During the summer they have signature cold brews like their cascara (coffee cherry) iced tea, Japanese cold brew coffee and orange tisane iced infusion, along with the usual iced lattes. Everything in the offering is available to have inside the shop, on our tables outside, or to take away.
