The Buckinghamshire Arms

The Buckinghamshire Arms, known locally as The Bucks, is a traditional 17th century pub and former coaching inn. Serving many real ales and great food, it is the perfect stop off when visiting the area.

Local Produce - All our meats are sourced from local suppliers and are of the highest quality. Our smoked chicken and duck come from Mortons of Skeyton, fish is supplied fresh by Coles of Lowestoft. The highly acclaimed Swannington Farm to Fork provide us with the finest cuts of beef, lamb and pork.

Excellent Food - With our team of chefs running the kitchen, you can expect classic English dishes beautifully presented and packed with flavour. As well as our à la carte menu, we offer special dishes which change daily to reflect the best of seasonal ingredients available.

Fancy a Drink? - The Bucks has a great selection of real ales including Woodfordes and Adnams and at least 2 seasonal guest beers. Wines are served by the glass or the bottle from an exciting, and frequently changing, wine list. For coffee and tea lovers, we offer freshly brewed speciality blends so please feel free to come in and have a hot drink.

We were delighted to receive a Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence Award again in 2018 and are a CAMRA recognised pub.

Breakfasts served every day 8 am - 10 am. Booking preferred. 

Tea & Coffee served 10 am - 12 noon. 

Delicious food served lunchtimes, evenings and all day Saturday & Sunday.

Also boasting four unique bedrooms, the Bucks offers wonderful Bed and Breakfast accommodation. Larger rooms have fantastic views of the surrounding Blickling Hall Estate.

ACCOMMODATION

We have 4 double en-suite bedrooms all decorated using National Trust heritage colours. Three of the rooms have original four poster beds and all are made up with the finest linen for a comfortable night.

Further afield, our convenient location means a 20 minute journey will take you to the city of Norwich, the Norfolk Broads or the North Norfolk coast. Both Aylsham (just a mile up the road) and Holt (20 minutes drive in the other direction) are historic and popular market towns offering a diverse range of attractive and interesting shops.
