The Castle Hotel

Set in the heart of the small market town of Downham Market in West Norfolk, The Castle Hotel is a luxury three star hotel offering you the best in contemporary design accompanied by a traditional warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Our Hotel is family run and over the last tweny one years, we are very proud of the range services and accommodation we offer and on our fantastic food. The Hotel has recently been recognised for its “Exceptional Breakfast” by Visit England. 

Our 12 bedrooms have been stylishly refurbished to the highest standard, offering luxury accommodation in a comfortable and contemporary style especially the Honeymoon suite which sports a four poster bed and en suite with a jacuzzi bath.

The cosy Lounge Bar offers a lovely place to sit and enjoy a quiet drink.  There are a good selection of beers to choose and a really good selection of malt whiskies, and it is open to residents and non-residents .  We also serve fabulous bar snacks.

We also able to cater for dinner parties and a variety of functions; including weddings, funerals and birthday parties, please enquire for more details. The restaurant is fully air conditioned.

Wi-Fi is available in all guestrooms, for no additional cost. All communal areas are fully integrated with wireless internet access so you can gain access where ever you are during your stay.
