The Coach House

The Coach House is a beautiful Georgian country house, located in the riverside village of Hilgay a short hope from Downham market. It sits perfectly in a private country estate, the setting and the house forms a wonderful backdrop for family get-togethers and small groups.

There are five bedrooms, including one on the ground floor in the old stables. There are three modern bathrooms, two of which are en suite and a downstairs cloakroom. The Coach House comfortably sleeps 8-11 guests and is extra-spacious for 4-5

There is a sheltered, courtyard that ccatches the sun all day and of course a BBQ and a hot tub!

For the children amongst us, the garden is large enough for a playhouse and a football game or two.  There is also a four acre paddock which is perfect for kite flying.

The miniature John Deere Tractors are very popular and we provide toys and games for the children.

Enjoy the stunning Norfolk sunsets and rich wildlife or take a peaceful stroll along the river. During the evening, you will see barn owls flying low over the fields and you may well be visited by our latest resident —a little deer who has chosen to live at the farm.
