The George Hotel

The George is an attractive 18th century inn, situated in the heart of the bustling market town of Dereham.

The elegant Georgian building houses a spacious bar, restaurant and conservatory. On a sunny day the outside terrace is the perfect place to enjoy a drink or meal. We have six en suite bedrooms, one with a four-poster bed and roll top bath which would be perfect as a bridal suite.

Along with its popular bar and restaurant, The George now offers 6 fully refurbished en-suite bedrooms. We are taking bookings and offer full bed & breakfast in our en-suite double rooms, twin room & single occupancy rooms.

The George is ran by Gareth and Rebecca Williams. As head chef/landlord Gareth brings over 16 years of experience in catering. His passion is traditional and classic British pub food.

Gareth and his team of chefs source only the best, fresh local produce for use in the seasonal menus. All food is prepared and cooked to order on the premises for your enjoyment!!

We have a secured car park with barrier entrance

For a different gift a George voucher can be purchased at the value of your choice. These can be purchased in person or over the phone using your bank card. We can then post to an address of your choice.
