The Library Restaurant

The Library Restaurant located in the heart of Norwich, is the place to come an enjoy great food in the most historic of atmospheres.  The Library was indeed, the first public subscription library in the UK and is a listed building which has been brought to life, sympathetically converted into a modern contemporary restaurant that incorporates the historical features seamlessly.

The Library aside from the restaurant area, has a huge lounge area, a bar, outside courtyard which in the summer months provides lovely alfresco dining and where food is prepared and seared on a wood fired grill.

The Library chefs use simple, fresh and as far as is possible, local sourced ingredients. 

The menus are elegant and reflect a variety of styles.  The A La Carte offers select range of cuisines with vegetarian options or there is a Tapas menu, a Fixed price menu and Light Bites.  The wine and drink selection compliments the food perfectly. 

The Library lounge is open from 11.00am everyday offering a delicious selection of tapas, freshly baked cakes, scones and artisan coffee’s freshly brewed by our baristas.
