The Muckleburgh Military Collection

The Muckleburgh Military Collection is the UK's largest privately military museum. Located in Holt, on the coast comes an immense stockpile of tanks, military vehicles, artillery, missiles, uniforms, weapons and much more.

The collection includes over 25 tanks, 11 armoured vehicles, a multitude of huge artillery cannons and anti-aircraft guns, support vehicles, lots of missiles, a whole armoury of smaller firearms and enough shells and ammunition to fight off an army.

The museum also incorporates the Suffolk and Norfolk Yeomanry Museum of uniforms, weapons, photographs and documents, the RAF Reconnaissance and Air Sea Rescue and Marine Craft exhibits, which just add to the military feel of our wonderful museum.

The collection also has lists of items which were used in the Falkland war like artillery and uniforms, also the collection includes a variety of weapons, gear and other military equipment used in the Gulf War which have been recovered from a coalition by the Iraqi armies. Some post war aircraft are on display with a unique collection of model ships.

If just looking at the mass amounts of military vehicles doesn't do it for you then what will? Riding in them of course. At The Muckleburgh Military Collection we decided to offer what not many places in Norfolk can, Riding in real life military vehicles, take a tour of the collection and see all airfield, guns, missiles and lots more. You can even drive your own tracked military vehicle around the lot and feel like the boys who fought in the war all those years ago.

If you would like to visit a large collection of all things military then The Muckleburgh Military Collection is the right place for you. 

Muckleburgh has its own airfield so you can fly in and walk to the museum.  There is a £5.00 landing fee.

We also offer kennels complete with dog beds and a lock for those visitors who want to bring their dogs but don't wish to leave them on the car.  There is a refundable £5.00 deposit for the key.
