The Old Rectory Hotel

The Old Rectory Hotel, Crostwick is just 4 miles north of Norwich in a beautiful and tranquil rural location but still within easy reach of the bustling city and local amenities and transport routes.

The Old Rectory originally served the nearby Crostwick Church by housing the Clergy in the 18th Century. However, it is now privately owned by the Solomon family who transformed the rectory into a beautiful Country House Hotel.

The Old Rectory is set within 3.5 acres of landscaped gardens, including a lovely patio area which our guests can enjoy and the gardens make a wonderful backdrop for the many wedding parties we cater for.

Our Rooms

We have 16 comfortable and well equipped en-suite rooms, bar, restaurant, two function rooms, cosy lounge, and an outdoor heated pool. 12 of the rooms are in the main hotel including a Luxury Four Poster room, and the other 2 rooms are family suites which adjoining but each room has its own en-suite bathrooms.

Majority of rooms are large enough to accommodate extra children's beds. 

The pool is secure and is a great place to enjoy the lovely sunshine.

We have a further 4 en-suite rooms in our ‘Cottage'. Originally the coach house this building has been converted and can also be used as a self catering cottage for up to 10 people.

Restaurant

Included in our bed and breakfast rates we are delighted to offer a Full English or Continental breakfast prepared using some of the best locally sourced produce in North Norfolk.

Breakfast is served: Mon to Sat 7am - 9am Sunday 7.30am - 9am

A bar snacks menu is available through out the day and includes a selection of sandwiches, warm filled baguettes and hot meals. For those that are venturing out for the day we offer packed lunches made to order.

Our restaurant is open to hotel guests for evening meals 7 days a week Our menu features an extensive range of dishes offering traditional home cooked food. A children's menu is also available. Please advise of any special dietary requirements prior to your visit.

Hotel Facilities

• Car park: We have ample, FREE parking with 24hr CCTV.
• Swimming Pool: The outdoor, heated swimming pool is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Its sheltered position makes it an excellent sun trap in the summer months.
• Restaurant: Breakfasts and Evening meals are served in one of two fully air conditioned restaurants offering excellent home cooked food. Lunches and packed lunches are available on request.
• Gardens and patio seating: We have 3.5 acres of beautiful landscaped garden for our guests to enjoy, with extensive patio seating area.
• Licensed Bar: Our restaurant licensed bar is open for hotel guests
• Lounge: We have a comfortable lounge seating area with TV and ches lounge and open fire in the winter months.
• Laundry room: Ironing board and iron, washing machine, Shoe cleaning.
• FREE WIFI: Wireless broadband Internet connection is available in hotel rooms, lounge and both restaurants. (Now also available in cottage rooms)
• Wheel chair access and disabled facilities - Whilst we are not currently graded we are entirely ground floor and offer very good wheelchair access throughout the hotel with disabled W/C in reception
