Throwers was first opened in 1902 as a grocers shop, and over the years grew bigger and bigger.
In 1968 the shop trebled in size and became self-service, with a hairdressers on the second floor. Then in the early 1970's Ludham Post Office was adjoined onto the store providing quality service for all members of the community.
Today the shop is still owned and run by the Thrower family.
Here at Throwers we work with many local suppliers including Woodfordes, Nortons Dairy, Broadland eggs, Lakenham Creamery and lots more companies, to sell you the best local produce available.
