Mundesley
Mundesley is a popular seaside holiday village in North Norfolk, between the towns of Cromer and Happisburgh. It has lovely sandy beaches to enjoy and it really came into its own as a very popular resort during the Victorian era because of the increased access to Norfolk from the railways, it even had its own station, which lasted until the middle 1960's before closure. Mundesley offers visitors and residents alike, a good selection of shops including butchers, hardware store, florist, chemist, medical centre and school not to mention an arts and crafts shop. There are three pubs to enjoy with adventure island and crazy golf to keep the whole family entertained. There is also a lovely nine hole golf course in the Mun Valley for those who prefer putting to sand castle building and there is a very small maritime museum which is also happens to act as the local lookout of the National Coastwatch Institution.
